We believe that through the gospel, God creates a new kind of community where people are committed to growing in God's word, fellowship, and growing with one another. (Acts 2:42-47)
The primary way that we seek to foster community in our church is by gathering together weekly in homes across Richmond. Community groups help to create a culture of prayer, encouragement, authentic relationships, and accountability as we explore the implications of the gospel on our lives. More than anything else, these groups represent the church at a personal level. They are designed to be a place to enjoy the benefits of true fellowship as we encourage and serve each other, as well as the communities around us.
Our community groups are geographically spread throughout the West End Richmond community to help people connect closer to their homes. Generally, communities will gather to eat dinner together, discuss Scripture, pray, fellowship, and focus on ministry and missions within their group and surrounding area.
